While most toddlers are still learning to ride a bike with stabilisers, three-year-old Milo Craddick has been racing around a BMX track competing for a British championship title.
The talented young cyclist of Halton Road, Islington, was one of 24 riders aged 18 months to five years who went head to head at the finals of the 2013 Strider British Balance Bike championships in Manchester at the weekend.
Milo’s mother Paula Chin said “Milo just loves being on his bike and has enjoyed every second of the championships. We’re so proud of what he has achieved to just qualify for the finals.”
In the end, Milo missed out the chance to fly to Florida, USA, to represent Great Britain in the world final – but still did Islington proud by making it to the final race where he came sixth.
