Service users at the Hanley Road drop-in centre celebrated Christmas in style last week with an evening of live music.

Service users at the Hanley Road drop-in centre celebrated Christmas in style last week with an evening of live music.

They were joined by management at the facility in Finsbury Park to dance along to reggae band Lambo and DJ Vibes The Renegade Master, while enjoying a delicious Caribbean spread.

The party is put on every year as a thankyou to those users who also work for the trust, which aims to provide a range of education and employment related opportunities for people with mental ill-health.

Mary Wigzell, one of the managers at Hanley Gardens, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the party. It gives service users an opportunity to be something else and come out of their shells – like those playing in the band and the DJ.”
