School children in the borough can get free fruit on the way to school as part of a promotion from Budgens to get kids eating healthily.
Pupils can pick up one free healthy snack from the store on Upper Street as they head back to the classroom this week, entering a competition in the process.
For each item of fruit they consume the children can fill in up to six stamps a week on their “fruit challenge” card, with a chance to win a different prize each week and guaranteeing £2 off a shop at the store when spending £20 or more.
The competition is unique to the Islington shop.
