Giggling Paralympian helps Islington charity put a smile on poorly children’s faces

A charity from Islington joined Paralympic silver medallist Will Bayley to show laughter really is the best medicine.

The table tennis ace joined Giggle Doctors from Theodora Children’s Trust, in Pentonville Road to bring fun and laughter to children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Giggle Doctors are specialist entertainers who undergo extensive training to work in a medical environment.

One of them, Dr Snug, brightened up the ward with a big smile, a colourful outfit and a mixture of storytelling, puppetry, music and magic.
