Christmas will once again see the town hall’s annual lunch to thank the borough’s elderly residents.

The festive feast sees the council lay down all the trimmings at the Assembly Hall, Upper Street, for older people in Islington to celebrate the huge contribution they make.

Anyone aged 70 or over can apply for a seat at the table on December 10, with applications open until Friday, November 7. To apply call 020 7527 3012 or e-mail patricia.niclas@islington.gov.uk. The guestlist will be announced on December 1.
