A supermarket is switching off their in-store music for one Christmas shopping weekend to let carol singers provide a seasonal soundtrack.
Sainsbury’s, in Liverpool Road, Islington, wants people from the area, including professional choirs, singing families, friends and school and youth groups to deck their halls with festive cheer on December 14 and 15.
A total of eight groups will be picked to provide entertainment to shoppers over the two days – and each choir has the chance to raise cash for charity.
