X FACTOR mentor and singer Sinitta will be coming to Islington to discuss her own experiences of adopting and encourage local people to get involved.
The star, who adopted two children, Zac and Magdalena, last year, will speak at an open evening held in Islington’s Assembly Hall on Tuesday.
Sinitta said: “There are still many children in need of a stable and permanent family home and I would like to encourage anyone who has ever thought about adoption to come along to this event to find out more. Adopting a child can be a very rewarding experience and many people, including myself, have enjoyed giving children a loving home.”
The evening is being held by the North London Adoption Consortium (NLAC) to coincide with National Adoption Week.
