Young boxers gave up their cup final afternoon to help war veterans who are injured or amputees.
Lads from Islington Boxing Club, in Hazelville Road, staged a series of sparring demonstrations to raise money for the Pilgrims Bandit charity, which helps those hurt in the line of duty.
They were just one attraction at the event, which also had a bouncy castle and face-painting and raised more than 5,000.
Lenny Hagland, chairman of the Hornsey Rise club, said: “It’s such a good cause, and they all gave up their Saturday afternoon willingly. It was cup final afternoon as well, and a couple of them are Chelsea fans.”
