Charles Dickens’s classic tale of Christmas magic is set to be retold by staff and service users at Daylight – a Highbury day centre for adults with learning difficulties.

A Christmas Carol will be transformed into a musical extravaganza by the all-singing, all-dancing cast from the Highbury Grove facility at their gala show tomorrow (Friday).

The team has been working hard for weeks rehearsing for the show, which takes place at Jacksons Lane Theatre, in Archway Road, Highgate, from 7pm.

Susan Mackay, a manager at Daylight, said: Everyone is very excited about the performance and rehearsing hard, as well as behaving very well.

“It’s going to be fabulous – probably our best one yet.”
