Four young people are celebrating after being picked for an apprenticeship at the Whittington.

The new recruits will work in a variety of roles – including administration, payroll and pharmacy – at different departments across the Magdala Avenue site.

Jade Touzalin, one of the apprentices, said: “Being part of this scheme is a valuable and unique experience.

“I am looking forward to finding out more about the NHS, developing my skills and being part of this organisation.”

Jo Ridgway, director of
organisational development at the trust, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer these apprenticeships for people interested in a career in the NHS.

“These roles offer the chance for people to work, learn and develop skills, all within a healthcare setting – whether that be at a hospital, community centre or in a healthcare support role.”

More places will be available across the trust in the coming year, for more details visit www.apprenticeships.org.uk
