An attempt to build Britain’s biggest burrito will take place in King’s Cross next month.
The record-breaking Mexican meal, to be made in King’s cross Square at lunchtime on October 16, is part of a fundraiser by restaurant Benito’s Hat for Action Against Hunger.
The enormous enchillada will be 100 ft long, contain 170 tortillas, 17kg of chicken, 8kg of tomatoes and 1kg of coriander and take chef Felipe Fuentes Cruz to 10 hours to build.
He said; “Benito’s Hat held the record for Britain’s Biggest Burrito back in 2011 but we were beaten just months later. This October we’re going even bigger and all in the name of a very good cause.”
