A MODEL from Islington will be competing against nearly 60 other women for the Miss Universe 2011 GB crown.

Natasha Crook (right), who was crowned Miss London, will compete in the national final in Birmingham on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Highbury resident is sponsored by recruitment agency Front Promotions Limited. She said: “I would never have been able to find the money myself so they have helped me to pursue my dream to take part in a national beauty pageant. I am really excited about taking to the stage next month.”

Natasha works as a full-time website presenter and model after graduating from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music in 2006. David Douglas, a consultant at Front, said: “Natasha has been working with Front for a number of years and is one of our most experienced and professional models.”
