A CYCLIST who died in a collision in Holloway this morning worked for a charity in Camden, it has been revealed.

Detectives have still not formally identified the 64-year-old from Woodford, who was pronounced dead at Whittington Hospital, in Archway, not long after the accident at the junction of Carleton Road and Pleshey Road, Holloway, at 8.05am.

The 34-year-old driver of the car was arrested at the scene and questioned by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, but was released on bail this afternoon.

He is due to return to police on May 22.
