Student fashion designers from City and Islington College in Holloway Road, Holloway, have been part of a training scheme.
Charity Fashion Awareness Direct stages the Fashioning Futures programme where 120 students from inner-city areas are helped to break into the fashion industry.
Twenty-five will have the chance to showcase work at London Fashion Week and some will see their creations advertised by sponsors George.
Six City and Islington students took part. One of them, Hannah Dang (pictured with her design) said: “I really enjoyed the construction stage and process of making my final toile.”
