A Holloway learning disability charity has been given £50,000 for a new minibus, the Gazette can reveal this morning. The donation, news of which had been placed under a strict embargo by the government, is for Centre 404 in Camden Road.
The centre was one of 40 charities across the country to be given a share of £2million from the Department for Transport for new 16-seat minibuses.
Founded in 1951, Centre 404 provides children and adults with a learning disability – and their families – access to activities and support.
