FEAR of the unknown can really make a hospital a difficult place to be for a patient. I was pretty terrified before today at the prospect of having injections into my spine.
However, the team that treated me at The Whittington Hospital, from the receptionist to the consultant, as well as all of the nursing staff, were the best examples of their professions that I have encountered in a very long time.
I felt that even if I had been a private patient, it would have been difficult for anyone to beat the care I received. – Nicholas Wild, via e-mail.
