A bouncy dragon was just one of the fun activities hundreds of youngsters took advantage of at the Whittington Park Festival.

Music and dance acts were also entertaining the crowds while Islington Boxing Club had a ring erected and put people through their paces.

Steel pan bands, food and drink were on offer while people also got the chance to get advice from Islington Law Centre and the Department for Work and Pensions about any problems they may be facing.

The festival, which was held at Whittington Park in Holloway, on Saturday September 14, was organised by the North Islington Community Group – a group of tenants associations – along with the council.
