An exclusive screening of an award-winning film telling the story of eminent politician Tony Benn will be played in Islington before it hits screens across the country.

Residents will be able to watch Tony Benn: The Last Will and Testament a week before the rest of London at the Islington Assembly Hall, in Upper Street, next week as part of a town hall screening tour.

The documentary is an exclusive and deeply personal look at the life of the Labour politician and looking at the life, work, love and loss of the national treasure.

Tony Benn died in March when he was 88 years old.

The screening will begin at 7.30pm on September 24 and ticket prices start from £7.50.
