Islington stations will be hit by three sets of closures to the Victoria and Overground lines during the Easter bank holiday weekend.
On April 16 and 17, trains will not run on the entire Victoria line, incorporating Highbury and Islington and Finsbury Park. Transport for London (TfL) said it is for upgrade work that will eventually enable 36 Tube trains an hour during peak times. Replacement buses will run during the day.
From April 14 to 17, there will be no service between Camden Road and Stratford Overground stations, which includes Caledonian Road and Barnsbury, Highbury and Islington and Canonbury. This is so a new subway can be installed at Hackney Wick station. Replacement buses will run every 10 minutes.
And on April 16 and 17, there will be no Overground trains between Highbury and Islington and Shadwell, which also includes Canonbury. Replacement buses will run every 10 minutes.
