A brave eight-year-old recovering from a kidney transplant was treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the X Factor studios.
Star Rogers Smith, from Islington, met the 2013 contestants ahead of the ITV show’s semi finals and even got to sit in a judge’s chair.
She joined fellow Great Ormond Street Hospital patients at the rehearsals, enjoying a sneak preview of performances from Sam Bailey, Nicholas McDonald, Luke Friend and Rough Copy.
The visit was to celebrate the winner’s single being in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Together for Short Lives.
Star’s mother Samantha, said: “Star is a big X Factor fan so she was really excited to visit the studios.”
