Cally Pool swimmers brandish their impressive haul after splashing their way to more than 10 medals at this year’s Scottish Masters Nationals.

Six members of Cally Masters swimming team, based in Caledonian Road, made the trip to Glasgow to swim in the competition, which saw them pull in four golds, seven silvers and four bronzes.

Rebecca Adam, Luka Crnjakovic, Christine Hoyle, Adam Nicholson, Sara Perry and Jenny Nelson all swam in a mixture of relays and individuals races. The team also raised more than £500 for Marie Curie Cancer Care after swimming 5k in 1h 27m.

Fran Bigman, of Cally Masters, an adult swimming group which welcomes swimmers at any level, said: “It’s fantastic to see the hard work that members put in translating into medal and fundraising success.

“Cally Pool is a superb venue to train at because we have three sessions a week and a fantastic coach due to Aquaterra’s support.” To join the team call Tara on 020 7689 2351.
