MADNESS frontman Suggs brought 3,000 reasons to be cheerful to Archway last night when he switched on the spectacular light fountain on top of the Tube station.
The ever-popular singer flicked the switch on the Big Rock Candy Fountain on Monday – the first day of winter.
The huge artwork by David Batchelor is made up of 3,000 brightly coloured fairground style lights which flash on and off to simulate movement – and will light up Archway every night until the clocks go forward in March.
