A host of keen young sailors took to the high seas to celebrate a new fleet of boats.
Shipmates young and old shivered their timbers on the City Road Basin, off City Road, Finsbury on October 23.
The event was organised by Islington Boat Club, in nearby Graham Street, to celebrate six new dinghies they had bought with £1,700 donated by developer Mount Anvil.
John Feed, senior youth worker at the club, said: “It went really well, got lots of young people interested, as well as their parents.
“There were some potentially good young sailors.”
