City University law students have set up a new legal clinic offering free advice to people renting privately.
The Roof Over London project comes as many private renters are unable to access legal aid.
The aim of the monthly sessions, which are overseen by qualified lawyers, is to offer legal advice to people who have concerns about their flat or landlord. Students provide guidance on issues like deposits, illegal evictions and repairs.
