Are you suffering a burning injustice? This man wants to hear about it.
Islington Council leader Richard Watts is holding one of his regular “leader’s question time” sessions on October 30.
Cllr Watts is often candid at the forums, having previously fronted up about the damp problems in some of Islington’s estates and admitting the council’s repair service “hasn’t been brilliant for many years”.
Ahead of the meeting at St Stephen’s Church in Canonbury Road, Canonbury, Cllr Watts said: “Leader’s question time is a great chance for residents to ask questions about the things that really matter to them. From local issues they want to raise with me, to questions about something the council is doing, I’m happy to answer anything that people put to me.”
The meeting will be chaired independently by Islington borough commander Paul Hobbs, of London Fire Brigade. It runs from 6.30pm to 8pm.
