Islington North MP Jeremy Corbyn was among those who spoke at a discussion of the political legacy of former Labour Lord Tony Benn.

The discussion, which took place at a people’s parliament meeting in a committee room at the House of Commons, saw several MPs give speeches on different aspects of Benn’s legacy.

Corbyn – who chairs the Human Rights organisation, Liberation, which Tony Benn founded in 1955 – focused on the former Labour party chairman’s “international vision”.
