The boss of an Islington gym has been named as the strongest woman in London.

Nadia Cole, manager of the The Gym London Angel, in Goswell Road, battled through five gruelling tasks against the clock, which included 100kg deadlifts, a farmer’s walk with 50kg per hand and the 42.5kg log press.

The 33-year-old won every single category in the over 70kg weight category. She said: “This competition was so much fun and I’m thrilled to have done so well. Winning my category has meant I’ve qualified for many other strength-focused events.”
