One lucky punter is a whopping £20,000 richer after scooping a winning lottery ticket at a Highbury newsagent.
The golden docket for Saturday’s draw was picked up at Lees Newsagent, in Highbury Park, but remained unclaimed until yesterday (Wednesday).
Staff at the shop even put up a sign to try and coax the winner out of the woodwork.
The dish was dished out as part of the revamped National Lottery format - 50 people win £20,000 in addition to the normal jackpot .
One member of staff said: “We’re glad it’s finally been claimed. Whoever they are, they are very lucky.”
