A MAN who suffered horrific head injuries when he was hit by a car on Wednesday has died.
The 60-year-old, who was left in a critical condition after a hit and run collision at the junction of Mildmay Park and Ball’s Pond Road, passed away last night at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after an accident, but police are still invetsigating the circumstances of the incident.
