A man plunged to his death from Archway Bridge in the early hours of this morning, the London Ambulance Service has confirmed.
Police officers and ambulance crews rushed to the scene but the man, thought to be in his forties, was pronounced dead in Archway Road at around 12.30am.
Archway Road, which lies beneath the bridge, and Muswell Hill Road were closed for around four hours from 12.30am until around 4am.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious and Islington officers are investigating.
