A man has died after being hit by a train at Angel tube station this afternoon.

Another thanked tube staff for the “speedy evacuation at lunch” and keeping the situation under control.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “We were called to Angel Underground station at 1.46pm on Monday, 13 July, following a report that a person had been struck by a train.
“BTP officers attended the northbound Northern line platform, alongside colleagues from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.
“A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers are currently working to identify the man and inform his family.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
