A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a Tube train last night.

The victim, thought to be in his 30s, fell under a westbound Piccadilly Line service at Arsenal Station at around 6.40pm.

British Transport police (BTP), the fire brigade and ambulance crews attended and the man was treated for leg injuries at the scene before being taken to Royal London Hospital as a priority.

Officers say the incident is being treated as non-suspicious and they are trying to get in touch with the victim’s family.

The Piccadilly line was suspended between King’s Cross and Arnos Grove until around 8.05pm.
