Firefighters rescued a man from a fire at a chicken shop in Holloway Road yesterday afternoon.
Crews were called to the blaze at Bang Bang Chicken just after 1pm. One man had already left the takeaway when they arrived but another was led to safety with breathing apparatus.
The ducting from ground to the floor was damaged in the blaze, which took one hour and 15 minutes to bring under control.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
