A man was saved from the roof of a burning building in a dramatic rescue just minutes ago.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to the blaze on the ground floor of a semi-detached house in Barnsbury Square, Barnsbury, at about 3.05pm.
A man climbed onto the flat roof of the house, which is still burning, and had to be rescued by fire crews.
It is not known if he is injured at this stage.
Several people in the area called 999 and crews from Islington, Kentish Town, Kingsland and Stoke Newington fire stations attended.
