A PEDESTRIAN suffered a fractured pelvis and leg in a hit-and-run collision with a moped on Sunday.
The man, thought to be aged 46, was hit by a black Vespa at the junction of Cathcart Hill and Junction Road, in Tufnell Park, at around 7.45pm.
The moped rider sped away from the scene, while the vehicle, which was reported stolen on Sunday, was found abandoned in nearby Dartmouth Park Road, Dartmouth Park, in the early hours of Monday.
The London Ambulance Service took the victim to St Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington, with non-life threatening injuries.
A spokeswoman for LAS said: “We were called just before 7.45pm to a report of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene. Our staff treated one patient, reported to be a 46-year-old man, and took him as a priority to St Mary’s Hospital.”
Police are investigating but no arrests have been made.
