My best friend just passed away, through cancer. She didn’t deserve it. She was the most caring and kindest person I ever met, and she kept me, and others, hopeful that we could survive. I survived.
I feel dreadful that she, who was our inspiration, has gone. How can I deal with the distress I feel? I don’t know how to go on if she isn’t there.
l Barbara says: Carry on her work. Get together as a group and set up a website, a charity, a local organisation, whatever, that gets her inspiration out there. She taught you something. Pass it on! That’s her legacy to you! Live up to it!
