Almost 100 people have signed a petition to block a plan to build flats on a car park.
The building, on the Bennett Court Estate, off Axminster Road, Holloway, would house one two bedroom and one four bedroom properties intended for social housing.
An Islington Council Planning Committee is set to make the decision tonight (Thursday) but many people are against the move.
Concerns voiced include the loss of car parking spaces, light, privacy and the area already being over-crowded.
