Our 18-month-old son seems to want to play with his sister’s dolls, and my wife isn’t stopping him.
I think it’s very wrong for boys to play with dolls and stuff, but my wife says that he’s just copying his sister, and that it’s just a phase he’s going through, but the other day my brother came round and saw him playing with a doll and said it’s not right and I need to get it stopped. What do you think?
Barbara says: I agree with your wife. Playing with a doll isn’t going to harm him any more than if your daughter wanted to play with a train set.
