A man who was found unconscious and critically ill in Holloway Road on Saturday night has been identified.
It comes after yesterday’s police appeal to help identify him, and his next of kin have been informed.
Happily, the 53-year-old, who is from Islington, is now in a stable condition in hospital.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, the Met said this afternoon.
