Finding major retailers that allow dogs in their stores can be a challenge in the UK with most having a general ban on pets.

However, there are a growing number of shops allowing dogs inside with The Range being the latest to make this policy change.

Announcing the move, The Range said on Instagram: "We have some pawsome news to share... Our stores are now DOG FRIENDLY 🐶🧡

"That’s right, we’re now welcoming four legged furry shoppers in our 200+ stores nationwide 🙌 & perfect timing!

"Our Pet Event is on in-stores today for you to ‘fetch’ incredible deals across pet supplies! RUN, do not walk!"

If you're looking for a shop that is dog-friendly, here are some of the places you can go and visit.

The major retailers that are dog-friendly in the UK

These are the major UK retailers that allow pet dogs in their stores, according to the experts over at Caboodle.

Generally, well-behaved dogs properly kept on leads are allowed in the following stores. Most stores will also expect owners to clean up after their furry friends.
