Bosses of an eagerly-anticipated new theatre want people to donate their old chairs and tables to furnish the place.

The Park Theatre, in Clifton Terrace, Finsbury Park, which was due to announce its inaugural season on Wednesday, needs pre-loved furniture with history.

They are after large tables, bar stools, benches, armchairs, a piano and more that are in good structural condition, but possibly a bit shabby.

Anyone with some spare fittings they would like to donate can email a photo to donateditems@parktheatre.co.uk.
