A taste of the big apple is coming to Kings Cross this week as a New York style cocktail bar opens its doors.

Be at One, in Caledonian Road, on the former site of the Ruby Lounge, launches on Friday and is the latest addition to the Be at One empire, which boasts ten other venues around south and west London.

The Kings Cross branch is the company’s first foray north of the river, and punters can expect a 160 strong cocktail list, bar snacks and a 2am license on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Manager Tony Scott said: “We pride ourselves on great drinks and great service in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere - we try to go the extra mile.

“It is an exciting time for us to be coming to Kings Cross and it is a fantastic site. We are really looking forward to being part of the local area.”
