Two artists showcased their work at a special exhibition this week.
Natalie Keymist and Natalie Lazarus, both residents at Mildmay Park extra-care residence, in Newington Green, have been taking part in Notting Hill Housing Associations Mildmay Artist scheme.
The pair have moved into customised artist studios – where they pay rent which is used to finance activities for other residents, such as music therapy.
At the exhibition on Wednesday (February 25) family and friends, along with the Mayor of Islington, Cllr Theresa Debono came the view their work.
Cllr Debono said: “It’s always a delight to visit places in our community like Mildmay Park and see older people in Islington enjoying their lives, and being supported by very dedicated carers.”
