A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after another man was found collapsed in Finsbury Park.
Thomas O’Connell, 25, of Green Lanes, Finsbury Park, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on New Year’s Day accused of savagely attacking a 26-year-old inside the park.
Police were called at 11.15pm on December 28 after the victim was discovered on the floor close to the Manor House entrance of the park.
He suffered serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
