A person died at King’s Cross St Pancras Tube station this morning after being hit by a Victoria line train.
British Transport Police officers were called to the Underground at 11.10am after the incident involving a southbound train.
They were accompanied by paramedics. Despite their efforts, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Transport for London (TfL) said Victoria line services have resumed, but with severe delays.
