EXCITED students meet the cast of a show at a top theatre.

One hundred and fifty pupils from Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School in Penton Street, Islington, saw the Almeida Theatre's production of Marianne Dreams.

The pupils wrote their own reviews of the show and have been working with Almeida staff in a residency at their school, inspired by the production.

The performance was funded by law firm Pinsent Masons, which is a sponsor of Marianne Dreams.

Martin Roberts, head of Pinsent Masons London office, said: "We are delighted to be able to continue the close relationship which we have established with our local Islington schools by sponsoring three additional matinees of Marianne Dreams.

"We are really grateful to the Almeida team for helping us to combine our arts sponsorship programme with the work which we are doing to develop closer connections with local school children. In the last year this has included exhibiting student art in our London offices, career presentations at school assemblies and 'taster days' for students to come in to our offices and get a feel for how a city law firm operates".
