A MAN has been jailed for two-and-a-half years and banned from wearing shorts in public after exposing himself to women on the underground.
John Worboys, 54, pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent exposure at Southwark Crown Court after British Transport Police (BTP) identified him using CCTV images.
Between September and October 2009, Worboys of Amersham Hill, High Wycombe, exposed himself to women on three separate occasions, once on a Victoria line train between King’s Cross and Highbury and Islington.
BTP Police Constable Michaela Isaacs described his crimes as “intimidating and disgusting”.
She added: “Thanks go out to the women for coming forward and providing evidence which, together with the CCTV images, has ensured a two-and-a-half year jail sentence.”
