Seven people narrowly escaped from a first-floor flat this afternoon just moments before it turned into fireball.
The home, in Tollington Way, became engulfed by flames at about 5pm today before 20 firefighters, including a crew from Holloway, tackled the blaze for about 40 minutes.
Two people were checked over by medics for shock but no one was taken to hospital. Meanwhile, the cause of the Finsbury Park blaze is still being investigated.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 5.15pm to reports of a fire at an address in Tollington Way.
“We sent an ambulance crew, two duty officers and our hazard area response team. We checked over two patients for shock at the scene but no one was taken to hospital.”
