Friends and family of a seven-year-old recently diagnosed with diabetes pounded the streets to raise awareness and money for the condition.
Kerry Dack, 31, set up the sponsored walk for diabetes charity JDRF after daughter Emily Winkworth was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
Around 50 people marched from St Luke’s Primary School in Radnor Street, Finsbury, to University College Hospital (UCH) in Marylebone before returning to celebrate with a barbecue.
Ms Dack, of Galway Street, Finsbury, said: “The day was very positive with the number of friends and family who turned up in support us.”
It is hoped sponsorship will exceed 2,000.
