Cheshunt Youth League Cup Final Ridgeway Rovers 0 Locomotive Youth 4
CAPTAIN Shane Cojocarel bagged a brace as Locomotive Under-14s romped to victory against Ridgeway Rovers to lift the Cheshunt Youth League Cup for the second year in a row.
The Under-14s (pictured) took the lead after just 10 minutes, when Cojocarel latched onto a free-kick from Euan Taylor-Reid, and three minutes later a Cojocarel cross was flicked on by EJ Gyebi and Charles Prince arrived at the back post to volley home.
The result was beyond doubt before half-time when another Taylor-Reid free kick caused panic in the Ridgeway defence and Rushane Cornette-Brown was on hand to tuck it away to make it 3-0. After the break, Cojocarel completed the rout with his second of the afternoon, after linking up well with Gyebi. Locomotive: Katsigazi, Govey, Fitzsimmons, Taylor-Reid, Cornette-Brown, Houghton, Casey, Yianni, Prince, Cojocarel, Gyebi, Willcox, Hinkson, Tegene, Salter, Gutzmore.
